Three Hens and a Peacock by Lester L. Laminack
Tuckers' farm was a quiet farm...until the peacock arrived. The peacock was soon standing on the road, attracting the cars passing by, and business was booming. Everyone seemed happy but...the hens were NOT. They were squawking and clucking about the peacock doing nothing while they worked so hard. They decide to switch places with the peacock and it quickly becomes apparent that THIS is not the best idea. Kids will love the hilarious illustrations. Teachers and parents will be thankful for a simple story about individual talents and working as a team.
Story: 3 Buckeye leaves
Illustrations: 5 Buckeye Leaves - awesome end pages!!
