I am not sure the 3 year old really "got it" but I found this book to be quite funny. The narrator of the story begins by explaining that the last few days he has had a "cold" and as a result, a day by day account of the effects. Luckily by Sunday, the cold was gone! BUT where did it go?....He then shares that the cold has been many places, from Iowa where his aunt lives, to Las Vegas where his grandma is. Again, I am not sure how much children will understand the story, without it being explained to them.

Illustrations: 3 Buckeye Leaves (great endpages...the "cold" is a little scary/strange looking....but I have never seen a cold before so...)
